Annual General Meeting 1999
The
Annual General Meeting of the Association was held in the Hong Kong Polytechnic
University on 30th June, 1999,and officers for the Executive Committee 1999 / 2001 were
duly selected.
A pre-meeting seminar given by Dr. Philip
Chan reported the joint project about the reading habits of young children studying
from primary four to secondary one. (Please refer to the Research section of the
Association Briefing for details.)The talk generated thought-provoking questions
worthy of more discussion in future meetings.

of 159. The focus this year was to develop a web-site for communicating
with members and putting the Association Newsletter the first time online. General
