Who can join?
Anyone interested in promoting reading in the community can join. e.g. parents, principals, teachers, librarians, schools, publishers etc. 
The Association also welcome full time students in tertiary institutions to apply for student membership.

As a member, what can I get?
◆ get the updated and first-hand information on all activities and news from HKRA and other education and
    literacy organisation in HK and around the world, such as IDAC, IRA
◆ have the privilege to join all the activities of HKRA, such as workshop, story-telling sessions, talks and
    conference
◆ have the privilege to order all books, research reports, abstracts, anthology from HKRA and other IDAC member
    associations
◆ team up with other HKRA members to organise or propose activities and seek funding from various external
    sources
◆ share your experience in reading with other HKRA members
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST,
◆ help to contribute to the community in promoting reading in Hong Kong.

How to become a member?
You can now apply (or renew) the 2007/2008 HKRA membership. Please download the form (Word document) below :

Fill in the form, together with the membership fee (payable in cheque to Hong Kong Reading Association),
and mail it to:

P.O. Box 98982, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

How much is the Membership fee?
The regular annual membership fee for HKRA is HK$ 150.00. 
Life Membership is HK$ 1000.
Student membership is HK$ 100.00 (eligible for Secondary 7 or above full-time  students)
We welcome Corporate Membership (annual fee HK$ 1000).
We also welcome donation  to support our activities and publications.


HKRA is a non-profit making organisation established in Hong Kong since 1980. 
All the membership fees and donation are solely used for organising activities  that can promote reading in Hong Kong.
