 The Study Report on Children Leisure Reading
| The study on children's leisure reading was completed in February as a joint effort of the Association with the Boys' and Girls Club Association, Greenfield Educational Centre, and the Professional Teachers' Union. One thousand copies of the report were published in May, 1999 and complimentary copies were distributed to most public libraries and university libraries and other voluntary organisations for future reference.

| The 1999/2000 International Development of Asian Committee Anthology has been published by Taiwan Reading Association, which features lots of reading study in Aisan countries. Reading Bibliography Databases for Brunei, HK, Japan and Philippine
| The bibliography is the first attempt to compile Hong Kong studies related to reading, providing a reference source for studies, research and knowledge dissemination on reading in Hong Kong. The bibilography contains over 300 entries, both in English and Chinese, of studies include titles of books, journal articles, research reports, conference papers, theses and dissertions.
